**Location:** Doncaster
**Salary:** **£27,456 – £28,080 per annum**
**Hours:** Full-Time – 40 hours per week (174 hours per month)
**Additional:** Sleep-in duties may be required

### About the Role

Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting Residential Childcare Workers on behalf of a growing childcare provider in Doncaster.

You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can develop, thrive, and achieve positive outcomes.

### Key Responsibilities

* Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
* Promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of children in your care.
* Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
* Support children with daily routines, education, social activities, and life skills development.
* Implement care plans and support strategies tailored to individual needs.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
* Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to ensure high standards of care.
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.

### Requirements

* Previous experience working with children and young people is desirable.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable.
* Willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification within the required timeframe.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, resilient, and child-focused approach.
* Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
* Full UK driving licence is desirable.
