Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and child-focused Registered Manager to lead a three-bedded EBD children’s home in Doncaster.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you will have the autonomy to shape the home, build your own team, and lead the service through registration.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and outcomes for children and young people.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the setup and Ofsted registration of the home
• Recruiting and developing your own staff team (with onboarding support provided)
• Providing strong leadership and fostering a positive team culture
• Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards
• Delivering high-quality, child-centred care
• Developing and implementing tailored care plans
• Building strong partnerships with local authorities and external agencies
• Managing budgets and resources effectively
Support & Development
• Ongoing support from experienced Registered Managers and senior leadership
• Structured guidance through the registration process
• Funded Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (if required)
• Flexibility within the role to support work-life balance and CPD

• Monday–Thursday: £20 per night
• Friday–Sunday: £40 per night

Requirements
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve within 2 years)
• Experience in a management or supervisory role within a children’s residential setting
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Full UK Driving Licence
Additional Information
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care (required)
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks are required
