Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and child-focused Registered Manager to lead a three-bedded EBD children’s home in Sheffield.

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will oversee the effective running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the setup and Ofsted registration of the home
• Recruiting, developing, and leading your own staff team (with onboarding support provided)
• Creating a positive and inclusive team environment
• Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards
• Delivering high-quality, child-centred care
• Developing and implementing individual care plans
• Building strong relationships with local authorities and external professionals
• Managing budgets and resources efficiently
Support & Development
• Support from experienced Registered Managers and senior leadership
• Full guidance throughout the registration process
• Funded Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (if not already held)

• Monday–Thursday: £20 per night
• Friday–Sunday: £40 per night

Requirements
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve within 2 years)
• Experience in a management or supervisory role within a children’s residential setting
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Full UK Driving Licence
Additional Information
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care (required)
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks are required
