Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver

Location: Peterborough

Pay: £19.61 – £21.29 per hour (including holiday pay)

Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for an excellent opportunity based in Peterborough.

This is an ongoing role with a well-established client, offering regular work, competitive rates of pay, and the opportunity to join a busy and professional transport operation.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday
* Day and Night shifts available
* No tramping
* Average of 50 hours per week
* Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
* Ensure all loads are correctly secured before departure.
* Complete trunking and multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently, and in accordance with drivers’ hours regulations.
* Deliver excellent customer service at delivery points.
* Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
* Follow all road traffic legislation, health and safety procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
* Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* Previous Class 1 driving experience.
* Ability to lift up to 18kg when required.
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
* Reliable, flexible, and committed to providing a high standard of service.
