Location: Wigan
Shifts: Days & Nights Available
OTE: £46,800 – £50,400 per annum + £3,600 per annum Night Out Allowance

Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Wigan. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive earnings, and the chance to join a professional and growing transport operation.

Key Responsibilities
– Operate Curtainside Trailers and Containers safely and efficiently
– Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
– Complete pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections
– Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
– Adhere to all road transport legislation and company safety procedures
– Deliver excellent customer service at all times
– Communicate effectively with transport planners and operational teams
– Assist with loading and unloading when required
– Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements
– Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
– Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
– Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
– Previous experience with general haulage and container work preferred
– Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations and road safety requirements
– Excellent driving skills with a professional attitude
– Maximum of 3 penalty points on licence
– Ability to work days, nights, and tramping shifts where required
– Good communication and customer service skills
