HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver – Portishead (Newly Passed Welcome)

Resolve Recruitment Services are working alongside our client to recruit a HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver for a well-established steel stockholder based in Portishead, Bristol.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated driver to carry out multi-drop deliveries across the Bristol area. This is a full-time/ temp to perm contract position offering stable hours, optional overtime, and excellent company benefits.

Key Responsibilities

– Completing multi-drop deliveries in and around Bristol
– Loading trucks when required
– Conducting vehicle walk-round checks
– Assisting customers with unloading
– Carrying out general warehouse duties
– Cleaning trucks upon return

Essential & Desirable Skills

– Driver CPC – Essential
– FLT licence (in date) – Desirable but not essential
– Strong time-keeping skills
– Willingness to learn and support the team
– A positive, professional attitude
– Good attendance record

Experience

– Driving a goods vehicle: 1 year (preferred)
– General driving experience: 1 year (preferred)

Working Hours

– Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
– Friday: 8:00am – 3:45pm
– Overtime available: 30 mins to 1 hour per day (paid at Time + 1/2)
