HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver – Portishead (Newly Passed Welcome)

Resolve Recruitment Services are working alongside our client to recruit a HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver for a well-established steel stockholder based in Portishead, Bristol.

The Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated driver to carry out multi-drop deliveries across the Bristol area.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position offering stable working hours, excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities and a great benefits package.

Newly passed Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply!

Key Responsibilities
– Completing multi-drop deliveries in and around Bristol
– Loading trucks when required
– Conducting daily vehicle walk-round checks
– Assisting customers with unloading
– Carrying out general warehouse duties when required
– Cleaning trucks upon return
– Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times

Essential & Desirable Skills
– Driver CPC – Essential
– HGV Class 2 licence – Essential
– FLT licence (in date) – Desirable but not essential
– Strong timekeeping skills
– Willingness to learn and support the wider team
– Positive and professional attitude
– Good attendance and reliability

Experience
– HGV Class 2 / goods vehicle driving experience – 1 year preferred
– General driving experience – 1 year preferred
– Newly passed Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply

Working Hours
– Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
– Friday: 8:00am – 3:45pm
– Overtime available – typically 30 minutes to 1 hour per day
– Overtime paid at Time + 1/2

Salary & OTE
– Basic salary: £30,420 per annum
– OTE: up to £35,820 per annum
