Salary: £36,094 – £37,785 per annum
Hours: Full-time (174 hours per month)
Sleep-ins: £71.28 per shift

Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for passionate and experienced Senior Residential Child Care Workers to join children’s residential homes in Nottingham.

The Role

As a Senior Residential Child Care Worker, you will lead shifts and support the wider team to ensure the highest standards of care for children and young people.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading shifts and acting as a role model for the care team
• Supporting and mentoring residential care staff
• Delivering and implementing person-centred care plans
• Promoting a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
• Monitoring and recording children’s progress and wellbeing
• Supporting behaviour management and therapeutic interventions
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards
• Working collaboratively with managers and external professionals

Requirements
• QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (essential)
• Experience working with children in a residential setting
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and relevant legislation
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and child development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
