HGV 1 Driver – Days and Nights – Preston

Who will you be working with?

Work with one of the UK’s leading third-party logistics (3PL) providers, dedicated to delivering high-quality and efficient transport and logistics solutions. With a reputation for reliability and a commitment to safety, we are looking for professional and dedicated C+E Drivers to join our expanding team, offering a supportive environment, competitive rates, and consistent work.

Key Responsibilities:

– Safely and efficiently transport goods across the UK, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.

– Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.

– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours, and mileage.

– Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding any issues or delays.

– Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with industry standards and legal requirements.

– Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive company image at all times.

Requirements:

– Valid UK C+E Licence with minimal or no points.

– Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.

– Experience in general haulage preferred but not essential.

– Strong understanding of UK road networks and compliance with driving regulations.

– Ability to work independently with excellent time management.

– Flexibility to work either day or night shifts, with occasional weekend availability as needed.

– > 18 Months experience
