HGV 1 Driver (adhoc) – Sharpness

Location: Sharpness, Gloucestershire
Employment Type: Adhoc / Ongoing
Pay Rate: £17.00 – £19.50 per hour + holiday pay (weekly pay)
Shifts: Days and Nights available  (04:00-06:00 or 16:00 – 18:00 start times)

The Role:

Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for adhoc and ongoing work with our client based in Sharpness.

This role offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a respected logistics operator. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely and professionally while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.

• Complete all delivery paperwork and digital records accurately.

• Safely load and unload goods as required.

• Maintain a professional attitude when representing the client.

• Adhere to all company and legal driving regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum 12 months of Class 1 driving experience (essential)

• Good communication skills and a professional manner

• Flexibility to work across various shift patterns
